What we fix and replace

Plain-language descriptions of each service, what to send when you ask for a quote, and how the mobile appointment works.

Windshield Replacement

Full front windshield replacement on all makes and models, using OEM-quality glass. Best option when the damage is in the driver's line of sight, larger than a quarter, or right at the edge of the glass.

What to send for a quote

  • Vehicle year, make, and model (trim helps too)
  • A clear photo of the crack from inside and outside
  • City or ZIP where the car will be for the install

Good to know

  • Most installs are done in under an hour
  • Car should stay parked for about an hour after install so the urethane cures
  • Lifetime warranty on the installation, in writing

Chip & Crack Repair

Small chips and short cracks (roughly a dollar-bill length or less, and off the driver's sight line) can usually be resin-injected instead of replacing the whole windshield. Faster, cheaper, and it keeps the factory seal intact.

What to send for a quote

  • Photo showing the damage with a coin or key for scale
  • Rough length if a crack is spreading
  • When you first noticed it (temperature swings spread cracks fast)

Good to know

  • Typical repair takes about 30 minutes
  • Repair stops the damage from spreading; a faint mark can remain
  • If the chip is too big to repair safely, we'll say so on the call

Side & Rear Window Replacement

Door glass, quarter windows, vent glass, and rear windshields. Common after a break-in, an accident, or heat damage. We can also clean up the loose glass inside the door and cabin before the new pane goes in.

What to send for a quote

  • Year, make, model, and which window (driver front, passenger rear, etc.)
  • Photo of the opening, ideally with the door panel visible
  • Whether the car is drivable and safe to park outdoors overnight

Good to know

  • Break-in glass gets vacuumed out of the door and cabin as part of the job
  • Some rare vehicles need the glass ordered in; we'll tell you before you commit
  • Temporary weather film available if the install can't happen the same day

Mobile Service

All four services above run as a mobile appointment across the Bay Area. We roll up with the glass, tools, and power we need, work off your driveway or a legal parking spot, and clean up before we leave.

What we need at the site

  • A legal, safe parking spot with room to open the doors fully
  • Roughly a 3x3 metre clear area around the vehicle
  • Access to the car for about an hour after the install so the seal cures

Good to know

  • Rain reschedules the appointment; urethane needs a dry cure
  • We work from covered areas when the weather is close to the line
  • Street parking is fine in most neighborhoods; we'll flag anything that isn't
